Day 1

Arrive in Salvador da Bahia, a historical city on the northern coast of Brazil. Salvador’s Renaissance architecture will take you back to the colonial times when the city was the capital of the Brazilian Empire. Bahia was also the first slave market in the Americas. The population includes African, European and Native American heritage.
Leave your luggage at your hotel and take the day to explore the city on your own or relax on the beach.

Day 2

After a hearty Brazilian breakfast, depart for a lively tour of Salvador. Visit the Pelourinho, the recently restored historical center of Salvador, and UNESCO World Heritage Cultural Site.
Spend the evening at your leisure or opt for a Bahia by Night excursion for a delicious dinner and vibrant local show show (at an additional cost).

Transfer to Praia do Forte: Beaches & Sea Turtles

Day 3

Sun and sea lovers can't miss this marvelous trip along the Northern Coastline. Start at Guarajuba beach and travel towards one of the most visited beaches along the Green Line Roadway: Praia do Forte. Admire the local wildlife at the Turtle Station run by Tamar Project, a major non-profit organization that protects sea turtles.
Spend the night in Praia do Forte.

Day 4

Return to Salvador and prepare for your transfer to Lençóis. Lençóis is a small city and the gateway to the marvelous Chapada Diamantina, an immense national park covering an area of 1,520 km2 (587 m2) that displays imposing mountains and monoliths, mysterious caves, and alluring cascades.

Day 5

Go on a full-day tour of the main attractions in Chapada Diamantina National Park on this full-day tour. Start your journey 67 km (41 mi) north of Lençois and arrive in Iraquara, Brazil’s cave capital. Visit Lapa Doce, a cave with beautiful stalactites and bizarre rock formations. Then visit Pratinha Farm to see more impressive Caves. The walls of the caves form enthralling blue, turquoise and light blue shades reflecting in the lake, the beauty is bound to catch your eye.
Hike the Morro do Pai Inácio Mountain for a panoramic view of Chapada Diamantina National Park. Here you can see the extraordinary high peaks and green valleys. Enjoy the sunset from this astonishing viewpoint before returning to Lençóis.

Day 6

Go back to Chapada Diamantina and visit the second highest waterfall in Brazil: Fumaça Waterfall. Transfer to Capão Valley and hike to the high plains and admire the vast valley and the mountains along the way. As you reach the waterfall, admire the impressive plains and the steep slopes. Take some free time to enjoy lunch and, if you want, swim in the Riachinho River. Afterwards, return to Lençóis and spend your last night in this small town.

Transfer back to Bahia

Day 7

Take a 6-hour transfer back to Salvador. Spend the afternoon at your leisure unwinding on the beach or wandering through Pelourinho.

Take in the breathtaking views of Bahia one last time before heading to the airport to take a flight to your next destination in Brazil or the rest of South America.
