Copacabana beach

Day 1; Rio de Janeiro:
Reception in the international airport and tranfer to your hotel.
The hotel is perfectly located, within walking distance from the beach, cinemas, shopping malls and theaters. Surrounded by Copacabana's exciting night life, it offers easy and fast access to the city centre of Rio (10 minutes), to the domestic airport (10 minutes) and to Rio's international airport (20 minutes), as well as the cityâs main tourist attractions. Tonight dinner, a typical brazilian barbacue at Palace Churrascaria.

Sugar Loaf Mountain

Day 2; Rio de Janeiro:
The panoramic view from the top of the Sugar Loaf Mountain, is breathtaking. Two sets of cable cars elevate you to the top of Sugar Loaf. The first brings passengers to the top of Urca Mountain. From Urca Mountain a second set of cable cars brings passengers to the summit with its 360¼ spectrum of golden beaches, green forests and a thriving metropolis that has earned Rio de Janeiro the title of the world's most beautiful city.
Sightseeing continues with a tour of Rio's historical past. Learn how Portugal's prince scandalously broke all family ties and declared himself Emperor of Brazil.

Christ the Redeemer

Day 3; Rio de Janeiro:
Christ the Redeemer keeps an eye on Rio from an elevation of 710m (2340ft). Board the trenzinho (cogwheel railway) up to the top of Corcovado Mountain for a bird's eye view of the center of the city from the center of the city! The 38-meter statue is the image of the faith and friendliness of cariocas. The monument was inaugurated on the day of Our Lady of Aparecida, 12 October, 1931 by then President Getœlio Vargas and cardinal Dom Sebasti‹o Leme.
Then get a close-up look at Rio's world famous beaches.

Ilha Grande

Day 4; Rio de Janeiro - Ilha Grande:
After breakfast, transfer from Rio de Janeiro to Angra dos Reis. Then take a ferry to Vila do Abraão in Ilha Grande.
Ilha Grande is an island located off the coast of Rio de Janeiro state, and part of the municipality of Angra dos Reis. The island is largely undeveloped and noted for its scenic beauty, which includes tropical beaches, luxuriant vegetation and a rugged landscape. It once held a notorious prison, now closed.
Is one of the most pristine remnants of Brazil's Atlantic rainforest, one of the richest ecosystems in the world, and a hotspot for biodiversity and conservation. It holds some of the largest remaining populations of many endangered species. The seas around the island, which are also protected, feature a unique convergence of tropical, subtropical, and temperate-zone marine life, and may be the only waters in the world where it is possible to see corals and tropical fish along with Magellanic penguins and Southern right whales.
The whole island is a protected area, with most of its territory included in Ilha Grande State Park, and the rest subject to stringent development restrictions. Small-scale ecotourism, however, is encouraged, and the island, which is roadless and off-limits to cars, features over 150 km of hiking trails connecting the handful of coastal villages and hamlets where lodging is available to each other and to the many beaches, mountain peaks, waterfalls, and pristine forests.

Ilha Grande

Day 5; Ilha Grande:
There are no roads and no private cars on the island. A good option is to use Vila do Abraão as a base and plan day trips from there. There are several hiking trails to the many beaches on the island. Some trails can be strenuous in the tropical weather, so be prepared and take plenty of fluid. Many beaches can be reached by boat. It is easy to find one-way trips and pick ups back to Vila do Abraão on many beaches in the evening. It is possible to walk around the outside of the island in about 4 or 5 days if you're not in too much of a hurry. Its best to start at Abraão and go in an anticlockwise direction, through Dois Rios. Note that accommodation on the back side of the island is scarce and free camping is illegal. At Parnaioca beach on the backside, arguably one of the most beautiful spots on the whole island and worth spending at least a couple of days.

Paraty

Day 6; Ilha Grande - Paraty:
After breakfast, transfer to Paraty.
Paraty is a preserved Portuguese colonial (1500-1822) and Brazilian Imperial (1822-1889) town. It is located on the Costa Verde (Green Coast), a lush, green corridor that runs along the coastline of the state of Rio de Janeiro, in Brazil. Paraty has become a popular tourist area in recent years, renowned for the historic town and the coast and mountains in the region.

Paraty

Day 7; Paraty:
The town is located on the Bay of Ilha Grande, which is dotted with many tropical islands. Rising up as high as 1,300 meters behind the town are tropical forests, mountains, and waterfalls. It is the southernmost and westernmost city in Rio de Janeiro state.
Paraty is surrounded by many parks and nature preserves, including Serra da Bocaina National Park, Serra do Mar State Park (of São Paulo), the Park Reserve of Joatinga and the Environmental Protection Area of Cairuçu, where the village of Trindade is located. The municipality also includes an indigenous village and an Afro-Brazilian "quilombo."
The historic town is compact and can be covered on foot.

Day 8; Paraty - São Paulo:
Transfer to international airport of São Paulo to flight back home.
