Saturday: Arrive today in Iguassu Falls. Sunday: Golf at Bourbon's
Have your first southamerican golf on the 18 holes course on 600.000m², Par 72 and about 6982 yards. Play golf in the borderland of the three southamerican countries Brazil, Argentina and Paraguay. Shot a drive from Brazil, let him pass Argentina and land in Paraguay! In the afternoon our SouthAmerican.travel guide shows you the Iguassú-waterfalls from the brasilian side. They are wider and more powerful than Niagara!
Monday:
Today's full day excursion shows you the Falls from both sides. First, cross into Argentina for a walk above the falls, wider and more powerful than Niagara. A boat guides you to an island to get a close-up view of the Falls from below. The mist of the Falls engulfs you on the Brazilian side, as you walk out onto a platform and into the garganta do diabo, the 'devil's throat'.
Tuesday: After breakfast we take off for the prosperous town of Blumenau, the heart of German colonization of the 19th century. Black Forest cakes and architecture and German culture still alive. In these high hills, Winters can be quite chilly and Summers extremely hot. Oktober is spring here: the best time of year to come. Enjoy your first sip of beer upon arrival. After tonight's German style dinner stay in Hotel Plaza**** Blumenau, the very best in town!
Wednesday: The Oktoberfest parade! Today your guide will show you around Blumenau's historic part. In 1880 this was still frontier land. Nobody dared to settle here before the arrival of the Germans and the Austrians. The afternoon is free to enjoy the fest. 40 music bands await you. Many band flown in from after the Munich Oktoberfest has ended!
Thursday: After a leisurely breakfast, (Brazilian-style, that is, not German!) head through the rolling landscape of today's journey, which is is interrupted only by mountain chains, rich farmland and patches of original subtropical forest, with the unique Araucária trees. Arrive in Curitiba, named best-organized city in South America, now a model for many Western industrialized nations! The city has grown 10-fold in the past 20 years, using innovative ideas to manage its substantial growth. The capital of the state of Paraná is a melting pot of such diverse cultures as Dutch, Polish, Arabian, German, Ukrainian, Italian and Japanese cultures, amongst many others! Check in to the Hotel Pestana**** Curitiba. Tonight's included dinner will give you a taste of the region's mix of cultures.
Friday: Morning sightseeing gives you a view of the capital, including the glass Opera House, before heading down to the coast for a stroll along the historic promenade of the Port of Antonina. After lunch, board the scenic historic railway as it winds its way from sea level up 1200m (3/4 of a mile high!) through the Atlantic Rainforest mountains back to Curitiba.

Saturday: Head for São Paulo, the world's second largest city & South America's industrial powerhouse south of the Rio Grande! Continue downtown to see the Paulistanos as they work and live in this surprisingly well-organized metropolis. Sightseeing includes the Contemporary Art Museum, Basilica and the Teatro Municipal. São Paulo's Hotel Blue Tree Paulista**** São Paulo is located in the heart of the city. Tonight's dinner is included.
Sunday: Golf at Sao Paulo Guarapiranga Golf & Country Club
Today is your turn on one of the best golf courses of the Sao Paulo Guarapiranga Golf and Country club. The course is flat but with many strait fairways surrounded by old native trees. Many water obstacles give the 18-holes-course with a Par 70 and 6401 yards a special attraction.
Monday: Vista Verde Golf Club
Golf the whole day after a hearty brasilian breakfast on the course of the Golf Club Vista Verde surrounded by montains. Because of the mountain scenery you will enjoy fantastic views! Every hole of the 18-holes-course is a new challenge and for a good result you need a good strategy. The course has many waters and lakes and is strongly waved. All 18 holes have four standard tees for all classes. The course has 18-holes, Par 72 with 7021 yards.
Tuesday: Rio de Janeiro, Brazil: Arrive in the cidade maravilhosa, Rio de Janeiro and transfer to your hotel on Copacabana beach - Astoria Palace**** Rio de Janeiro. The afternoon is free for a stroll, some shopping or relaxing on the beach or at your rooftop pool!
Meet your fellow travelers for a complementary caipirinha or other tropical drink before attending a Rodizio, an All-You-Can-Eat Brazilian Barbecue (included).
Wednesday: Gavea Golf Club
On your third day in Rio you will play on the 18-holes-course of the Gávea Golf Club, Par 69 with 5986 yards. The Gávea Golf and Country Club has one of the most beautiful golf courses of South America if not of the whole world. From the jungle extensions of the Tijuca forest near the Corcovado mountain and its christ monument untill the beaches of Sao Conrado curls this beautiful golf course.
Thursday: The panoramic view from the top of the Sugar Loaf Mountain is the highlight of today's sightseeing tour. Board a funicular to reach the summit with its 360º spectrum of golden beaches, green forests and a thriving metropolis that has earned Rio de Janeiro the title of the world's most beautiful city. Sightseeing continues with a tour of Rio's historical past. Learn how Portugal's prince scandalously broke all family ties and declared himself Emperor of Brazil. In the afternoon heat, everything slows down, and the Cariocas (as the people of Rio call themselves) head for the beach!
Friday: Itanhanga Golf Club
Enjoy golf in the Itanhangá -Golf Club in Rio de Janeiro. The Course is with 27-holes, Par 72 with 6427 yards a very nice park with a generous driving range and an installation for short shots. The course is situated near the mountains and offers enough shadow in the hot summer months.
Saturday: Christ the Redeemer keeps an eye on Rio from an elevation of 710m (2340ft). Board the trenzinho (cogwheel railway) up to the top of Corcovado Mountain for a bird's eye view of the center of the city from the center of the city! This evening, depart for home or your onward journey.
