ArgentinaDay 1: Flight to Buenos Aires and board the Ferrocentral train from Buenos Aires northwestwards to Tucumán.

Day 2: Buenos Aires to Tucuman
From Buenos Aires, Train station Retiro we go northwestwards to Tucumán... Enjoy and relax to the rumble of the train as you watch the landscape pass by; you’d never dream of dozing off!

TucumanDay 3: Tucuman
Tucumán, the charming city where Argentineans proclaimed, and still celebrate, their independence. Enjoy a Tucumán sightseeing tour today! The most important and visited area in the city is Independence Square. The square is surrounded by some of the most important civic buildings in the city following the typical Spanish Colonial grid urban design. Formerly known as Liberty Square, it has remained in the same place since 1685, the year of Tucumán city second foundation. For more than one and a half century, it was just an open field with an only tree where criminals were executed. As well you will dive into the history of Government House and Padilla House visit the Cathedral, La Merced Church and just breath the air of this fascinating historical city.

Train to the cloudsDay 4: Salta
In the morning you board one of the most famous trains of the world - The Train to the Clouds! It is one of the three higher railroads of the world, that crosses vertiginous mountains of the Mountain range Los Andes between spectacular landscapes. Part of the city of Salta, crosses the valley of Lerma, to introduce themselves into La Quebrada del Toro and to arrive until the Puna.
Denominated Train to Clouds, because of its high altitude, often clouds underneath the bridges or in slopes can be apreciated.

Tren a las NubesA train journey that goes through the clouds as it crosses The Andes at 4,220 mts and runs through 19 tunnels, over 29 bridges, 13 viaducts, 9 sheds, two loops formed by the railway and several big sewer systems, among them, true and colossal works of art delivered by its creator's imagination, Engineer Richard Fontaine Maury, whose great exploit was to cross the Andes Mountainrange using the potentials of engineering.
The train does not use gears, not even for the raised parts of the high, because the routes are put in a peculiar way circulating around a system of zigzags and spirals.
The machine used in the C-14 branch has diesel-electrical propulsion with a motor of 2.475HP of power, 6 motor axes with 103 tonelades of gross weight. This locomotive consumes around six liters of fuel by kilometer.
Full stop of the route La Polvorilla is the Viaduct where the train arrives at the height of approximately 4,220 meters over the level of the sea.
The train counts with services such as restaurant car, panoramic car, folkloric spectacles, medical, audio doctor's office, bilingual video and guides.
