Your train:

Argentina has been explored by the train and developed along the railways; numerous places owe their existence solely to the "steel horse". Still nowadays this is entrenched in the consciousness of the population. Unfortunately the construction didn't happen very coordinated. The result was a jumble of three gauges (1676 mm, 1435 mm and 1000 mm). Thanks to the initiative of individual provinces some long-distance passenger trains have survived, or even revived again.
The Chilean railway is the third oldest in Latin America. Today, passenger transportation is only offered on a few routes. The condition of the trains is very different. There are modern trains, but partly also antique locomotives pull the old cars through the Andes. This way train travels through Chile become a unique experience.
