This luxury ship takes guests on a magnificently memorable cruise along both the Negro and Amazon Rivers, offering all the comfort and service the discerning traveler demands. The adventure begins in the city of Manaus, capital of Amazonas, famous for its spectacular Opera House. After departing Manaus, the Iberostar Grand Amazon makes stops at locations along the Amazon jungle, offering excursions to explore the dense, untouched vegetation.Adventure-seekers will have the opportunity to see indigenous plants, trees, animals and even the local river communities, which are made up of extremely friendly and hospitable people. This rainforest experience is ideal for those looking for adventure with all the comfort of a five-star hotel.
The 72 cabins are situated on three different decks - Mandi, Acará and Tambaqui. The two spacious royal suites are situated in the front of the vessel. Suites and cabins are equipped with private bathrooms, twin beds, private balcony, TV, telephone, hair dryer, air-conditioning and radio.
Entertainment on the ship includes field trips, dance classes, fishing and ecological classes where participants are taught about the native fauna and flora. There are also motorboat excursions through the local lakes of Igapos and Igarapes. Evening activities include live music and theme parties.

Rios Solimões- Amazonas Cruise - 4 Days / 3 Nights (Thursday -Sunday)
Day 1 (Thursday):
Passengers check-in at Iberostar reception office in the harbor building. Embark, accommodation in cabins and reservation of tables in the restaurant. 6:00pm Ship departs to Manacapuru, passing by Ponta Negra
Classical Music watching the sunset at the upper deck. Captain´s welcome cocktail party, presentation of officers and crew in the Lua salon, Lecture on safety and abandon ship procedures.
Welcome dinner in the Kuarup restaurant. Live music and first contacts in the party salon and open bar on the top deck.
Day 2 (Friday):
Passing through Manacapuru harbor 10 miles from the entrace of Rio Manacapur Sunrise Lovers Breakfast at the upper deck. Breakfast in the Kuarup restaurant. Trekking and photo safari in the Manacapuru region
Boat ride to Igarapés e Igapós. On the way to "Lago do Jacaré". Lunch in the Kuarup restaurant. Theme lecture, Reaching "Lago do Jacaré" Piranha fishing (optional), Bird watching at Lago do Rei
Music watching the sunset at the upper deck. Dinner in the Kuarup restaurant, Alligator spotting, Music in the Lua room and open bar on the Sol deck.
Day 3 (Saturday):
Reaching Janauacá, Sunrise Lovers Breakfast at the upper deck. Bird watching at Lago Janauacá Lunch in the Kuarup restaurant. Photo safari at Lago Janauacá
Trekking on land - 2 trails. Embarkation - all aboard - On the way to Igarapé do Rei - Rio Amazonas. Theme lecture, Lunch in the Kuarup restaurant Igarapé do Rei.
Theme lecture, Bird watching and Alligator spotting at Igarapé do Rei. Boat excursion through the "Igarapés". Music watching the sunset at the upper deck way to Lago Janauacá.
Goodbye dinner in the Kuarup restaurant, Folcloric show in the party room. Music in the party room and open bar on the Sol deck
Day 4 (Sunday):
On the way to "encontro das águas" (meeting of river Negro and river Solimôes) Sunrise Lovers Breakfast at the upper deck, Wachting "encontro das águas" (meeting of Rivers water)
Breakfast in the Kuarup restaurant. Check-out. Arrival at Manaus. Passengers disembark
Program for passengers continuing on the cruise. Two optional excursions. Lunch in the Kuarup restaurant.
