Arrival in Santiago

Arrive this morning in Santiago, the gateway to the Andes and the capital of Chile. Situated between the stunning mountain peaks and the Pacific Ocean, Santiago is a vibrant and photogenic city. Your Chile & Argentina tour guide will greet you upon arrival and escort you to your hotel. Visit the historic district as well as the modern center on a city tour, including a trip to Santa Lucia Hill for an excellent panorama of the metropolis.

Day 2

Casablanca Valley

Discover Casablanca valley, extremely important in Chilean wine production due to its privileged and unique microclimates and the wide variety of soils that give birth to a special production of fine wines. Casablanca is specially famous for its white wines and is the main producer of Chardonnay and Sauvignon blanc in the country. Tour the vineyards Emiliana, William Coll and Indomita, where you will have the chance to taste wines produced with French and German grapes.

Day 3

Valparaíso & Viña del Mar

Leave Santiago to travel 120km (75 mi) towards the coast to arrive in one of Chile’s UNESCO Heritage Site: the seaport of Valparaiso. Multicolored houses on the hills, green parks, historical monuments, vibrant murals and bustling bars and restaurants fill this bohemian city. Visit its squares and use the elevators to get to the top of the hills and get a picture-perfect image of the Pacific Ocean.
Continue to Viña del Mar, known as the Garden City. The Casinos, palaces, and beaches help add to this city's unique character. After lunch, admire the Flower Clock, an emblematic symbol of the town, and take some free time to wander through the beach. Return to your hotel in Santiago in the afternoon.

Valparaiso, Valparaiso Cog Wheel, Valparaiso Hills, UNESCO Chile

Day 4

Puerto Varas - Chile's Lake District

Relax on the shores of Lake Llanquihue
Today your adventure in the breathtaking Lake District begins! Transfer to Santiago airport to board a flight to Puerto Montt. From there, meet your guide and driver and head 20 km (12 mi) to the north to arrive in Puerto Varas, a beautiful German town located on the shores of Llanquihue Lake.
Check in to your hotel and spend your first night surrounded by the enchanting atmosphere of Northern Patagonia.

Day 5

Puerto Varas to Peulla Lake Crossing

Set out in the morning to drive along the shores of Llanquihue Lake, with views of Calbuco Volcano to the south and Osorno Volcano to the north, as well as the snow-capped Andes mountains, alpine lakes, and stunning meadows. Stop at Petrohué Falls and admire these spectacular waterfalls. Then, board a catamaran to sail through Todos los Santos Lake under the gaze of the imposing Puntiagudo Volcano until arriving at Peulla, where you will spend the night.

Day 6

Peulla to Bariloche Lake Crossing

Rest in Bariloche, the "Aspen" of South America
Transfer by land to cross the border that separates Chile from Argentina, and head to Puerto Frías, on the banks of Frías Lake. Take a boat ride to get to Puerto Alegre, on the northwestern part of the lake. Take a combination of boat and coach rides from Puerto Blest to Puerto Panuelo, sailing the emblematic Nahuel Huapi Lake, to arrive in Bariloche, the capital of Argentina's Lake District and a popular ski resort destination.

Day 7

Cerro Tronador Tour

Follow a scenic route boasting lakes, snow-capped mountains and forests to arrive at the base of Cerro Tronador. Before reaching it, stop at the Ventisquero Negro, a black glacier originated from the white snow on top of Tronador. This is also the birthplace of Manso River, which makes its way to the Pacific Ocean.
Once in the base, take a light hike around the area to get different views of this mighty hill. Its name comes from ’trueno,’ the Spanish word for ‘thunder,’ and makes reference to the penetrating sound of snow falling down its peaks.
Return to Bariloche in the afternoon.

Note: Entrance fee to be paid directly on the spot.

Day 8

Small Circuit & Panoramic View

Today take one of the most traditional tours in Bariloche where you will see captivating landscapes bound to remain forever in your memory. Departure towards the west of the city, bordering Nahuel Huapi Lake until arriving at the foot of Campanario Hill. Get on a chairlift to get to the summit, at an altitude of about 1050m/3445ft. Wherever you look, you’ll see the snow-capped mountains, dotted islands, and majestic lakes that make up this fantastic region. Towards the south, admire the luxury Llao Llao Hotel, located between Lopez and Capilla Hills.
Continue your way towards a panoramic viewpoint to appreciate the Llao Llao Peninsula and its surrounding lakes. Make your way back to Bariloche, admiring Lopez Lake and the Trebol Lagoon along the road.
