Arrival in Santiago

Day 1

Arrive in Santiago, the gateway to the Andes and the capital of Chile. Situated between stunning mountain peaks and the Pacific Ocean, Santiago is a vibrant and beautiful city. Your tour guide will greet you upon arrival and escort you to your hotel. Go on a Santiago city tour and visit the historic district, the modern center and Santa Lucia Hill for an excellent panoramic view of the metropolis.

Day 2

Discover the Casablanca Valley, famous for producing some of Chile's most exquisite wines due to its unique microclimates and the variety of soils. Casablanca is especially famous for its white wines and is the principal producer of Chardonnay and Sauvignon Blanc in the country. Tour to three vineyards, where you will have the chance to taste wines made with French and German grapes.

Valparaíso & Viña del Mar

Day 3

Leave Santiago and travel 120km (75 mi) towards the coast to arrive at UNESCO World Heritage Site, Valparaiso. In this bohemian city, you will see multicolored houses sitting along the hills, green parks, historical monuments, vibrant murals and bustling bars and restaurants. Visit its squares and use the elevators to visit the top of the hills where you can enjoy a picture-perfect view of the Pacific Ocean and the city.
Continue to Viña del Mar, known as the Garden City, visit the casinos, palaces, and beaches. After lunch (not included), admire the Flower Clock, an emblematic symbol of the town, and take some free time to relax on the beach. Return to your hotel in Santiago in the afternoon.

Puerto Varas - Chile's Lake District

Day 4

Today you begin your adventure to the breathtakingly beautiful Lake District! Transfer to the Santiago airport to board a flight to Puerto Montt. From there, meet your guide and driver and travel 20 km (12 mi) north to arrive at Puerto Varas, a beautiful German town located on the shores of Llanquihue Lake.
Check into your hotel and spend your first night surrounded by the enchanting atmosphere of Northern Patagonia.

Day 5

Set out in the morning to drive along the shores of Llanquihue Lake, where you will enjoy views of the Calbuco Volcano to the south and the Osorno Volcano to the north.  As you continue,  you will see the picturesque snow-capped Andes mountains, alpine lakes, and stunning meadows. Stop at Petrohué Falls and admire these spectacular waterfalls. Then, board a catamaran to sail through Todos los Santos Lake under the gaze of the imposing Puntiagudo Volcano until arriving at Peulla, where you will spend the night.

Day 6

Transfer by land and cross the border from Chile to Argentina.  Here you will travel to Puerto Frías, on the banks of Frías Lake. Take a combination of boat and coach ride from Puerto Blest to Puerto Panuelo, sailing along the emblematic Nahuel Huapi Lake, to arrive in Bariloche.  Bariloche is the capital of Argentina's Lake District and is a popular ski resort destination.

Day 7

Follow a scenic route with views of the lakes, snow-capped mountains and forests. Marvel at the Ventisquero Negro, a black glacier from Cerro Tronador. This area is the birthplace of the Manso River, which makes its way to the Pacific Ocean.
Once at the base, go on a short hike around the area to see different views of the mighty hill. Its name comes from 'trueno,’ the Spanish word for ‘thunder,’ and refers to the sound of snow falling from its peaks.
Return to Bariloche in the afternoon.

Small Circuit & Panoramic Views

Day 8

Today, take one of the most traditional tours in Bariloche where you will see captivating landscapes bound to stay in your memory forever. Depart towards the west of the city, bordering Nahuel Huapi Lake until arriving at the foot of Campanario Hill. Take a chairlift to the summit where you will enjoy unobstructed views of the snow-capped mountains, dotted islands, and majestic lakes. Towards the south, admire the luxurious Llao Llao Hotel, located between Lopez and Capilla Hills.
Appreciate the scenic Llao Llao Peninsula and its surrounding lakes. Make your way back to Bariloche, admiring Lopez Lake and the Trebol Lagoon along the road.
Afterwards, check out of your hotel and transfer to the airport to board a flight to Buenos Aires, the capital of Argentina.

Day 9

Begin your first day in the Argentine capital with a half-day city tour, visiting the main tourist attractions and learning about the history of the city. Visit the diverse downtown with the Obelisk monument, the traditional tango neighborhoods of La Boca and San Telmo in the south, the aristocratic neighborhood of Recoleta, the trendy neighborhood of Palermo in the north, as well as the modern and romantic Puerto Madero.
In the evening, learn more about Argentine culture at an authentic tango show!
