TAM South America Airpass 2008

General Notes:

• There is a service fee up to US$50 per airpass for issuing/reissuing/cancelling & processing
• $12 Airport Security Fee & mailing fee for Airpasses additional
• Airport taxes for Airpasses additional. Taxes range from US$3-US$15 per domestic flights and US$15-US$50 for South America international flights and are dictated by airports and/or local governments and change frequently.
• Fuel surcharges and/or September 11 security fees may also be payable, as dictated by the airlines and local governments

APPLICATION

Economy class OW/RT/CT/OJ trips for transportation entirely within the area comprised of Argentina/Bolivia/Brazil/Chile/Paraguay/Peru/Uruguay and Venezuela only via flights PZ/JJ and JJ*.

ELIGIBILITY

Valid only for foreign passengers and/or South American citizens residing outside South America, holding tickets for transportation from points outside South America to points in Argentina/Bolivia/Brazil/Chile/Paraguay/Peru/Uruguay and Venezuela.
Only one South American Airpass may be purchased per passenger.

INELIGIBILITY

Not eligible for residents of South America.

For travel involving minimum 2 and maximum 5 countries

Infants: Pay 10% of the adult fare (South American Airpass)

MINIMUM/MAXIMUM STAY

Minimum: 05Days counting from departure of the first sector.
Maximum: 30Days counting from departure of the first sector.

STOPOVERS

A maximum of 3 stopovers in Brazil and 2 in other countries will be permitted in addition   to the point of origin and the point of destination in Argentina/Bolivia/Brazil/Chile/ Paraguay/Peru/Uruguay and Venezuela. A maximum of 8 flight coupons are permitted at this fare.
A stopover occurs when a passenger does not depart an intermediate point within 24     hours.

ROUTINGS

Routings must include at least 2 countries in the area of application.
Routings are limited to no more than 8 flight coupons and to a maximum of 4 flight coupons per country. Origin of transportation may be at any point in the area of application. Mileage calculations do not include surface sectors.

CONSTRUCTION AND COMBINATIONS

Not permitted

ADVERTISING/SALES

Permitted only outside South America. Only one pass may be sold in conjunction with international roundtrip, including AD/ID tickets. 
All confirmed coupons must be purchased before international departure.
A security surcharge of USD 12 must be charged per ticket issued. This security surcharge will be shown as –Q- at the end of fare construction.

RESERVATIONS

All sectors must be confirmed for all travel before departure under booking code:
International            - W
Domestic            - Z
The information “TAM SAP” must be informed at OSI field.                         

PAYMENT

Permitted only outside South America. PTA is not permitted. Tickets must not be issued in South America.

TICKETING

Valid for ticketing until 31DEC2006
The Air pass ticket must contain a cross reference with the number of the ticket used for international air transportation. Must be issued as a separate ticket in conjunction with the international ticket into area of application.
Tickets are non-endorsable.
Endorsement/Restriction box:  TAM SAP / NON END

REFUNDS FOR CANCEL / NO-SHOW

Before departure:  refundable, less US$ 30.00. 
After departure: non refundable. 

RE-BOOKING

Permitted any time: penalty USD 30.00

RE-ROUTING

Not Permitted

AGENT DISCOUNT

Not Permitted.

BAGGAGE ALLOWANCE

The same as the international allowance will be permitted. In the event of excess baggage, 1% of the economy, normal fare for the sector involved will be charged.
