What would any Buenos Aires Argentina tours be without tango dancing? Buenos Aires is known for its sultry tango dances, and I found that to be very true during my recent visit to the Tango Capital of the World. Nearly everywhere I went, I encountered some superb dancing and music. Tango was the most common, and I enjoyed seeing the professional tango dancing at the tango clubs just as much as I enjoyed seeing the casual milongas and dance in San Telmo. Watch this video above to get a taste of the high caliber of tango dancing found in classy tango dance clubs, as well as the fun and inviting tango milongas in Plaza Dorrego, and even some spicy flamenco music. Abasto Hotel tango dancersThere are several tango dance clubs that we recommend, including La Ventana, Esquina Carlos Gardel, Tango Porteño, Rojo Tango, and more. Tango dance houses usually include a full dinner menu and drinks, as well as the show. The tango club where this video was filmed was Casa de los Angelitos, in the Balvanera district. And you can even try tango dancing yourself while in Buenos Aires. Try our Buenos Aires Tango Dance Tour, or consider adding tango lessons to any of our Buenos Aires Argentina tours. If you are intrigued by tango, we also recommend staying at the Abasto Tango Hotel while in Buenos Aires. It’s one of the only tango-themed hotels in Buenos Aires, complete with tributes to Carlos Gardel, the 20th-century tango singer who helped bring a revival of tango music and dance to Buenos Aires.
