Everything went so smooth. The drivers were always prompt and courteous, our "private" tour guides were so knowledgeable, the hotels were each unique, but clean and comfortable. The Aranwa Hotel Pueblito Encantado in Colca Canyon was perhaps the most luxurious hotel we ever had the pleasure of staying in!!!!!! The attention from the staff, location, view, amenities and food were absolutely outstanding. How unfortunate we were only there one night. Since we were the only people in the restaurant, the restaurant manger had a nice conversation with us and informed us it was just over one year old. The sights in Peru/Ecuador were breathtaking and so much information to remember. Good thing I also had a camcorder to help us remember.
