Day 1ARRIVAL AT YACUTINGA LODGE
Once your luggage is dispatched and everything is ready, board the van and transfer to Yacutinga Lodge, 80 km / 50 mi away. The landscape is very picturesque, characterized by its reddish soil, the various shades of greens, the colonist and the Yerba Mate farms.
Upon arrival at the lodge you’ll be welcomed by a guide, who will give you an insight into the Yacutinga Reserve, the actions they are undertaking to protect its flora and fauna, and the type of activities you can take.
Enjoy dinner at the restaurant, which combines traditional Guarani, Paraguayan and Argentine flavors with ingredients cultivated at their own farm and produced by the locals, promoting the regional economy.

Day 2HIKING & KAYAKING
Salt patches are very common on the shores of these streams and wild animals often seek these places, therefore it is common to find animal footprints and traces in the muddy shores.
Duration: 3 hours.
Hiking:
Take an interpretative walk in the afternoon, conducted by expert guides who provide with useful information on the several natural environments, their flora and their fauna. Look for the old-growth trees, medicinal plants, orchids, bromeliads, butterflies, beetles, birds and mammals that live within the Iguassu Rainforest.
After dinner, take a night walk to discover the nocturnal forest. The sounds of nature produce a very complex symphony of which you can silently take part. The owls start their activities as the Milky Way becomes your ceiling. The aim of this hike is to sharpen your senses and make you feel in contact with nature.

Day 3DEPARTURE FROM YACUTINGA LODGE
