Brazil plans to remove Visa Requirements for foreigners during the 2016 Olympic Games

Save $160 USD with Brazil visa exemption during select months in 2016

In preparation for the upcoming 2016 Olympic and Paralympic Games, Brazil has submitted plans to exempt Brazil visa requirements for foreigners that are traveling to Brazil during the Games.  The senate in Brazil has already approved this bill and expects Brazil’s President to approve.  Tourism Minister, Henrique Eduardo Alves, hopes that by changing the visa requirements, it will be easier for foreigners to travel to Brazil and encourage more people to attend the Olympic Games.  Keep your eyes open for the official notice once this has been approved. The exemption will be for the following entry dates: June 2016 until the last day of the Paralympics on 18 September 2016. If you are thinking about traveling to Brazil in 2016, take advantage of this incredible travel saving! United States citizens will save $160 USD in visa fees alone, that doesn’t include the time and hassle of filing for a Brazil visa. Typically, we recommend allowing 6 months to obtain a visa for traveling to Brazil.  This is a huge time and money savings! For travelers that are not interested in attending the 2016 Olympics, this is still a great travel deal! Brazil is the largest country in South America and has some of the most beautiful and diverse landscapes in all of South America.  Brazilians are known for the friendliness and openness to tourists and you can feel their welcoming spirit throughout the country. SouthAmerica.travel offers plenty of different travel packages throughout Brazil.  From the Amazon Rainforest, to colonial Salvador, to pristine beaches and UNESCO World Heritage sights, Brazil is an incredible country with something for everyone.  We can arrange all of the tours, transfers, accommodations and more.   Don’t know a lot about Brazil?
