Bask in the cosmopolitan ambiance, explore the colorful streets and slowly head back to the hotel to unwind after a pleasant introduction to one of the greatest cities in South America.
Discover this fascinating city on a guided half-day city tour. Drive down the incredible 9 de Julio Avenue, the largest boulevard in the world. At its head, gaze up at the spire of the striking Obelisk, a standout symbol of Buenos Aires, and pass by the classic and elegant Colon Theatre. Then head to the modern Puerto Madero on the coast and see the sight of marine vessels bobbing in the water. Finally, feel chic and glamorous while browsing the boutiques in the fashionable Palermo and classy Recoleta neighborhoods.
This morning, head to the airport to board a domestic flight to Bariloche which lies on the shore of Nahuel Huapi Lake and originally called Buriloche, meaning βpeople on the other side of the hillsβ in the local Mapuche language. Take the time to experience the delights of Bariloche, world-famous for enthralling panoramic landscapes, serene blue lakes and mouth-watering chocolate. This winning trifecta is sure to keep all your senses satisfied while exploring the town. During your time here, pull up a chair at one of the cute and cozy teahouses, a legacy of the Welsh immigrants, and sip on a brew of freshly-made tea.
Travel from Bariloche to the Huenuleo Prairie and take in the sweeping views of Argentinaβs Lake District. Cross Manso River and enter the Nahuel Huapi National Park, a natural reserve of vast, clear lakes teeming with exotic plant and animal life. Visit the awe-inspiring Mount Tronador on a guided tour, famous for the thunderous sound of massive columns of glaciers that occasionally calve off and crash to the surface.
