Day 3 CANOPY WALKWAY TOUR, KAYAKING & PIRANHA FISHING
Rise early to go on a morning hike through a forest. Afterwards, head to a black water lagoon home to many ‘piaches’ or arapaimas, the largest freshwater fish in the world. Among the silence of the rainforest, you’ll be able to hear the sound of these fish jumping out of the water to breathe.
Later, head to a private reserve where a 25-m (85-ft) high canopy walkway is located. This excursion is exclusive to Delfin I and it enables you to acquire a bird’s eye look at the canopy, discovering the secrets of the rainforest that can only be appreciated from above.
In the afternoon, go kayaking and catch-and-release fishing at Nauta CaΓ±o Creek or Jacinto Lake. These places are inhabited by piranhas, small carnivorous fish.
Finish off your day with a guided night safari to look for nocturnal creatures such as caiman alligators, night birds like owls, and fishing bats.
