Start your South America Wine Tour in Santiago. This bustling city is not only the capital of Chile, but it is also the best wine region in Chile.
Transfer to your hotel and get ready for your city tour. Visit the main attractions in Santiago and admire the contrast between the colonial architecture and modern skyscrapers in Vitacura and Las Condes.
Finish your Santiago tour where it all started: Santa Lucía Hill, the foundation of the city. Climb the hill for a picture-perfect panoramic view of Santiago and the Andes Mountains.
After breakfast, grab your swimsuit because you are going to visit the picturesque seaport towns of Viña del Mar and Valparaíso!
Start in Valparaíso, where Nobel prize winner Pablo Neruda had one of his three houses, La Sebastiana, now open to the public as a museum. Visit the historic center, which was declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 2003. Admire the well-preserved 19th-century buildings and churches, and use the elevators to climb some of the hills in the city.
Afterwards, head to Viña del Mar, which will welcome you with its beautiful gardens, plazas, and palaces. The emblematic symbol of this town, nicknamed ‘ The Garden City,’ is the Flower Clock, boasting pink, red, and white flowers. Spend some spare time on the beach, sunbathing, swimming, or just walking along the coast. Return to Santiago in the late afternoon and relax for the rest of the evening.
Visit a winery in the area and enjoy the view of the mountain range. During this visit, you will be able to taste and buy the best-known Chilean wines. Return to your hotel in Santiago to check out and proceed to the transfer to the airport to arrive in Argentina. Your first destination in the country is Mendoza, Argentina’s wine capital.
Check-in to your hotel and enjoy the rest of the day at your leisure.
Today, explore Mendoza on a city tour. Mendoza has nearly 365 days of sun and the properties of its soil make this territory ideal for winemaking. One of the main grapevines is Malbec, which has a more fruity flavor than the French version. Visit this colonial and verdant city on a half-day city tour, exploring the Civic Center and the San Martin Park.
Return to your hotel and admire the romantic views of the sunset over the Andes.
Visit Uco Valley, the highest Valley in Mendoza. Stop at the first vineyard to learn about the winemaking processes. Then head to the cellar for a wine tasting and complete the experience with a local lunch.
Visit the second vineyard in the region and continue to immerse yourself in the viticulture of Argentina. Return to Mendoza in the early evening.
Transfer to the airport and catch a flight to Buenos Aires, the capital of Argentina. Upon arrival, transfer to your hotel in downtown Buenos Aires and get ready for a city tour.

The area was Buenos Aire’s former port and has been completely transformed with luxurious skyscrapers, a yacht club, a variety of first-class restaurants and the Women’s Bridge.
After breakfast, spend the afternoon exploring Buenos Aires at your leisure (without a guide). Enjoy a delicious meal of traditional Argentine cuisine and wine, and then be serenaded by professional dancers and musicians. Witnessing this show is one of the best ways to experience Buenos Aires, the city where the Tango dance was born.
