Biography
Daniel was born in Brasília, Brazil’s capital, and now lives in the “Marvelous City” of Rio de Janeiro. In 2005 he spent 3 months in the United States improving his English skills while working as a cashier for a casino in Nevada. Later his passion for travel led him to a job in customer service at a hotel, and later, a flight consolidator. Though his true calling is operations at SouthAmerica.travel, helping those seeking to explore the fabulous and still mysterious continent of South America. He enjoys working with the Travel Consultants to create dream tours for clients traveling to Brazil. Together with the most popular destinations in Brazil like Rio de Janeiro, Foz do Iguassu or Manaus, he has gained experience on lesser known places in Brazil such as the Pantanal and Salvador, Bahia. Places where our customers can acquire a whole new perspective on Brazil’s history and customs.
The Brazilian territory is so extensive and multicultural that there are even more places inside the country which are not always explored. However, with Daniel this is not a problem. He will get you where you want to be, from the “Oiapoque”, the extreme north of the country, to the “Chuí”, in the extreme south, distancing over 4.000 kilometers (2597 miles). With his knowledge, Daniel brings valuable insight to the team and can arrange anything from an Amazon cruise to an excursion to learn Salvador’s African heritage or Rio’s beaches and landscapes. Daniel clearly demonstrates SouthAmerica.travel’s slogan: Our Name is Our Passion.
Arranging agricultural tours in the South of Brazil, meeting the North Pantanal to see caimans, jaguars, ant-eaters, and a lot more specimens of flora and fauna, and gaining knowledge on the African heritage in Salvador.
