Montevideo

Upon arrival at the airport, you will be transferred in private service to your hotel in Montevideo. Uruguay's capital blends colonial architecture with a vibrant cultural scene. Stroll along La Rambla, explore historic neighborhoods, and enjoy the city's culinary delights. You'll have the day free to explore the city at your own pace. Consider visiting Mercado del Puerto for local cuisine.

Day 2

Montevideo

Today, we will pick you up at your hotel to explore Montevideo's key landmarks. We'll start in the historic center, visiting pedestrian streets, the town hall, and the cathedral. Then, we'll head to Independence Square and the Legislative Palace. Our journey continues through the Prado neighborhood and along La Rambla, showcasing the city's riverside views and residential areas.

Next, we'll drive to Carrasco, stopping at Plaza Virgilio to admire the monument to fallen Navy soldiers and enjoy panoramic city views.

We'll conclude the tour by returning to your hotel along the scenic coastal road and beaches.

Montevideo

On this full-day excursion, we'll explore Punta del Este, South America's premier beach resort. We'll stroll along the main avenue, visit the artisans market, yacht port, Nuestra Señora de la Candelaria church, lighthouse, and residential neighborhoods like Golf, San Rafael, Beverly Hills, Rincón del Indio, and Cantegril.

At the scheduled time, you will be picked up from your hotel and taken to the Montevideo bus station for your journey to Colonia del Sacramento. Upon arrival in Colonia, you will be transferred to your hotel.

Colonia del Sacramento

Today, we will pick you up from your hotel for a guided walking tour of Colonia del Sacramento's historic district. Founded by the Portuguese in 1680, this area is rich in history and charm. We will explore landmarks like the City Gates, the Street of Sighs, the Main Square, the ruins of San Francisco Church, the Lighthouse, the Governor’s House, and the Basilica of the Holy Sacrament.

This tour offers a deep dive into the town's heritage, recognized by UNESCO as a World Heritage Site in 1995.

After the tour, we will return you to your hotel.

You'll start at Plaza de Mayo, where you can admire landmarks like Casa Rosada and the Congress building. The tour continues through various neighborhoods, from the historic streets of San Telmo and the vibrant atmosphere of La Boca to the upscale elegance of Recoleta.

Buenos Aires

Enjoy a day at your own pace in Buenos Aires. Consider a trip to the Pampas, visiting a working ranch in San Antonio de Areco, about 1 hour and 45 minutes from the city. Known as the birthplace of the gauchos, this charming town offers a glimpse into the life of Argentine cowboys.

Puerto IguazĆŗ

At the scheduled time, you will be driven in private serviceĀ  to Jorge Newbery Airport for your next flight to Puerto IguazĆŗ. Upon arrival enjoy a transfer to your hotel in semi-private service.

Welcome to Puerto IguazĆŗ! This small town serves as the gateway to the stunning IguazĆŗ Falls, one of the Seven Natural Wonders and a UNESCO World Heritage site. Enjoy a day to unwind and soak in the tropical climate and lush jungle surroundings.

Puerto IguazĆŗ

Today, you'll be picked up from your hotel and taken to IguazĆŗ National Park on the Argentine side. The falls are nestled within a lush subtropical forest, home to diverse wildlife. Your guide will help you spot creatures like toucans, parrots, and coatis.

Walk along various paths and walkways that bring you close to the majestic waterfalls. The Argentine side offers numerous viewpoints to appreciate the falls from different angles. One of the highlights is the "Devil's Throat," the largest and most captivating of the falls. To reach it, you’ll take the ecological train and walk along boardwalks. After exploring and taking photos of the waterfalls, wildlife, and plants, you'll have some free time to enjoy lunch in this stunning setting. This 7-hour tour is a must to truly feel the power of IguazĆŗ Falls.

Day 11

RĆ­o de Janeiro

This morning, you'll be picked up from your hotel and taken to Foz do IguaƧu National Park in Brazil. Remember your passport! While Argentina has most of the falls, Brazil offers the best panoramic views.

At the park entrance, you'll board a bus with your guide who will take you to the falls. Take your time to enjoy the different walkways and feel the mist on your face. Walk over the Salto Santa MarĆ­a boardwalk and get close to the Devil's Throat to experience the power of the water.

After the tour, the bus will return you to the park entrance, and you'll be driven back to your hotel.

IMPORTANT: From April 10, 2025, passport holders from the United States, Australia, and Canada will need an e-visa to enter Brazil. Apply two months before traveling. More information at: Brazil E-visa

At the appropriate time, you'll be transferred to Foz do IguaƧu Airport for your flight. Upon arrival in Rio de Janeiro, you'll be driven in private service to your hotel. Spend the rest of the day exploring the vibrant city or relaxing by the beach.

Day 12

RĆ­o de Janeiro

Start your day with a pick-up from your hotel and head to the Urca neighborhood, where Sugar Loaf Mountain awaits. Your journey begins with a cable car ride to Urca Hill, 705 feet above sea level, offering stunning views of Guanabara Bay, its islands, the Rio-Niterói bridge, and Corcovado Hill.

Next, board a second cable car that ascends to the summit of Sugar Loaf, reaching 1,296 feet. From here, you'll be treated to panoramic views of Copacabana Beach, the Santa Cruz Fortress, and the beaches of Niterói.

After soaking in the incredible scenery, you'll be transported back to your hotel.

RĆ­o de Janeiro

Start your adventure with a pick-up from your hotel, then hop into a jeep for a scenic ride to Corcovado Hill. Next, take a short hike through the lush Tijuca Forest to the Cascatinha Fall.
