Colonia & Montevideo Uruguay Trip Package

Arrival and reception at Colonia Port. Discover this alluring old city, which has been declared World Heritage by the UNESCO in 1995, on a private city tour. Visit the quaint cobblestone streets, the 'Calle de los Suspiros,' the Spanish and Portuguese Museums, where you can see the heritage left by these two countries when the city was a under their rules, the beach with its calm atmosphere and the soothing sounds of the sea, and the old port.

Transfer to the bus station to take a bus to Montevideo. Once you arrive there, head to your hotel in the Uruguayan Capital.

After breakfast at the hotel, take a private City Tour to explore Montevideo's landmarks: Plaza Independencia (the main square), the Legislative Palace, the traditional Prado neighborhood, the residential zone of Carrasco, the Old City and pedestrian streets, the town hall, the cathedral and the typical Mercado del Puerto, where you can have lunch (not included).

In the afternoon, tour to the vineyards of Montevideo where we will be able to taste the superb Uruguayan wine Tannat.

Return to your hotel.

After breakfast, transfer to Punta del Este, the most popular and exclusive beach city for people in Uruguay and Argentina. On a SIB tour, pass by Piápolis to go on top of San Antonio Hill and contemplate the coastal views it offers. Visit Casapueblo, the most characteristic building in the city, and visit his author's atelier (entrance ticket not included). Discover the most important attractions: Juan Gorlero Street (the main avenue), the yacht's port, and the Golf, San Rafael, Rincón del Indio and Cantegril residential areas. Cross the undulated bridge of La Barra and head to the Beverly Hills Famous neighborhood and both the Mansa and Brava beaches.
