Day 1

Transfer to Patagonia Camp, located just 15 km (9 mi) from Chilean Patagonia’s biggest highlights: Torres del Paine. Transfers are offered from Punta Arenas city or airport, Puerto Natales city, or Cerro Castillo. The schedule varies depending on the destination.

Head to your comfortable yurt and admire the beautiful light blue waters of Lake Toro. In the afternoon, meet your guide and the rest of your group. You will go over the list of excursions offered and choose your activities for the next few days.

Note: The following tours are just an example of the type of activities you can take at Patagonia Camp, and are subject to change depending on availability and weather conditions.

A group of hikers stands on a rocky mountain trail in Patagonia, talking and looking at the scenic valley below, surrounded by green slopes, rugged cliffs, and distant snow-capped peaks under a partly cloudy sky.
Day 2

After breakfast, go on a full-day trek to Laguna Azul (Blue Lagoon) and Condoreras. Take a 1.5-hour drive along the road to Bahia El Boto to Condoreras. There you will begin hiking towards the top of the hill to reach a viewpoint that offers incredible views of the Paine Massif, del Toro Hill, and Contreras Hill.

In the afternoon you will drive to the northeastern area of Torres del Paine for about 45 minutes, give you legs a break as you descend to Laguna Azul, Spanish for ‘Blue Lagoon.’ From here, you will walk about 4-km (2.5 mi) along the trail to see the three peaks of Torres del Paine (Paine Towers) until arriving at Lake Paine. After this scenic tour, return to the van and return to Patagonia Camp.

Snow-capped mountains reflected in a calm lake, with green hills and blue sky with scattered clouds in the background—an idyllic scene near Patagonia Camp, capturing the wild beauty of Patagonia.
Day 3

After breakfast, go on a half-day Fauna Trail Hike, ideal for nature and culture lovers! Visit the most extensive and purest bioclimatic areas in the park, the pre-Andean xerophilous scrubland. Along the way, you may encounter the gray Andean foxes, guanacos, and ñandúes. If you are lucky, you may come across a puma’s footprints, since this is the area where these feline animals hunt.

Also, learn about the pre-Historic Patagonian culture by contemplating the wall-paintings made at the caves where tribes that preceded the Tehuelches used to live. These paintings date back to 6,500 to 7,000 years ago.

After this introduction to the fauna and history of the national park, return to Patagonia Camp.

Duration: 3 hrs
