Other courses are scattered throughout the country, as golf is becoming increasingly popular in Ecuador. Practice your swing at the Quito Golf Club, established in 1947, featuring real greens shaded by olive and eucalyptus trees. Besides the challenging 18-hole course, there are activities such as horseback riding, swimming, and tennis to enjoy. A golf tour of Ecuador can be combined with other golf courses in South America such as Colombia, Peru, Argentina and Brazil, or with a tour of other destinations in Ecuador such as the Galapagos Islands.
