Land at Bariloche airport and transfer to the 4-star Hotel Tronador situated on the banks of Lake Mascardi. Today, enjoy the great outdoors and choose from an array of exciting excursions. Perhaps set out on dry land and see the region by horse, or stretch the muscles and limbs with some hiking, rock-climbing or biking. Or head to the river and lakes for a few hours of fishing, rafting or kayaking. Keen bird-watchers can spend time studying various feathered species. One of the most popular choices is the guided horseback ride. During this tour, choose a trusty steed and follow cattle trails through open plains and farms before eventually arriving at the formidable peak of Mount Tronador.

After exploring the region’s natural beauty, consider getting a taste of daily life on a local ranch. Visit the Puesto Cretón and try your hand at rounding up cattle, milking cows and gathering fruits and vegetables for the week's meals. There’s also the option to spend a night on the farm in comfortable but rustic accommodation. Lunch on the farm includes a delicious menú al disco asado, barbecued meat cooked on a plow disk.

On your final day, transfer back to the city of Bariloche and fly to Buenos Aires or to the next destination in South America.
