Example Itinerary – Fully Customizable

Day 1

A guide will transfer you from your hotel in El Calafate or the Punta Banderas Harbour to transfer you to Estancia Cristina.

The lodge is made up of five buildings, and all of the rooms offer views of the imposing Norte, Pfifer and Moyano Hills, and their hanging glaciers.

Eat a traditional Patagonian dinner and head to your room to rest in the soothing Los Glaciares atmosphere.

Day 2

The tour starts ascending on 4WD vehicles crossing the Cordon Feruglio, 9.5 km through mountainous road. Discover a landscape that until recently was covered by glaciers and has a great geological interest.

As you reach the 550 m, observe the majestic view of the Upsala Glacier from the eastern front, exclusive of Estancia Cristina. You will also be rewarded with breath-taking views of the Andes Mountains, outstanding the Bertrand hills cone, and part of the southern Patagonian ice field. Walk on terrain of the glacier, enjoying the scene over the front of Upsala Glacier, Guillermo Lake, southern Patagonian ice field and the Andes Mountains.

Ride on 4WD back to the estancia.

Day 3

After breakfast, head for a tour ideal for those who want to unwind and get away from it all as they gaze the alluring natural Patagonian lands.

Walk to the end of the valley to the north, enjoying the flora and fauna of Los Glaciares National Park. Admire wildlife, mighty mountains, and light blue Pesca Lagoon (or ‘Laguna de la Pesca’ in Spanish), which has a pluvial origin.

Return to Estancia Cristina for the check-out.

Afterwards, board a boat to ride from the estancia to Punta Bandera harbor, where you will have a group transfer to El Calafate. You can combine this tour with another one starting in El Calafate and continue your Patagonian journey, or transfer to the airport for your departure.
