As night falls, board a boat for an evening tour. Or opt for a night-time wander through the Belem Orla where locals can be found jiving to live music or folk dancing in the street.

Sample some local cuisine when the sun sets and head to one of the fantastic restaurants at Docks Station. Then relax and retire for the night after your first day in Belém.
