Example Itinerary – Fully Customizable

A person wearing a plaid shirt stands on the deck of a modern wooden building at Awasi Patagonia, a luxury hotel in Chile, overlooking a vast landscape with dry grass, scattered trees, and distant mountains under a blue sky with clouds.
Day 1

Transfer from Puerto Natales or Cerro Castor to Awasi Patagonia, strategically located within a private reserve near Torres del Paine National Park. This private location, counting with twelve exclusive villas, allows you to enjoy the fascinating landscape and the endemic flora and fauna of Torres del Paine from a quiet area protected from the Patagonian winds, thanks to the surrounding forest of native beech. From the moment we make your reservation, your assistant will coordinate your own itinerary and menu depending on your personal preferences and interests.

Note: The following itinerary was designed to give you an introduction to the type of activities you can take at the lodge and is subject to change depending on availability and weather conditions. You can taylor-made your own excursions with your travel assistant.

Jagged blue icebergs and glaciers rise from the water, with snow-capped mountains in the background under a partly cloudy sky—an awe-inspiring view best enjoyed from a luxury lodge like Awasi Patagonia, an exceptional Patagonia hotel.
Day 2

Grey Peninsula:
Enjoy beautiful bird songs as you stroll through this enchanting lenga forest towards the Grey beach. As you reach the lake, contemplate the majestic icebergs that have floated down from the nearby Grey Glacier, swept along by the strong winds that are characteristic of the area. Walk until facing the peninsula to appreciate the Grey Glacier.

Mirador Cuernos:
Hike to reach one of the best viewpoints of the national park: Mirador Cuernos. Here, you will be rewarded with a breath-taking scenery created by the turquoise waters of the lakes and the falls, the white snow on top of the mountains, and the changing hues of the emblematic Cuernos del Paine.

A turquoise lake surrounded by green foliage and rugged, snow-capped mountains under a bright sky, with a leafless tree in the foreground—an idyllic scene reminiscent of an Awasi Patagonia luxury lodge experience.
Day 3

Nomads Path:
Travel back in time and follow the steps of the Tehuelches, the indigenous people that once populated Patagonia. Walk through Torres del Paine looking for pictographs made by these nomads in small caves, and learn about their history and culture. There are chances of spotting guanacos and rheas (ñandús).

Stone Leaves:
This tour invites you to become a paleontologist for a day and recognize plants through their leaves. Visit the fossilized remains of a forest to observe the petrified leaves and tree trunks dating back from more than 25 million years ago. All this in the midst of the mountainous landscape of Sierra Baguales in the La Cumbre-Baguales Geo-Paleontological Park.

A picturesque luxury lodge sits by a turquoise lake, with a wooden bridge connecting it to land. Snow-capped mountains and lush green hills rise in the background under a bright blue sky with scattered clouds.
Day 4

After these four days exploring Torres del Paine, enjoy one last breakfast at Awasi Patagonia and transfer to Puerto Natales or another destination in Chile or South America. Also, you can hire a transfer to go to El Calafate, in the Argentine Patagonia.

It is also possible to stay at Awasi Patagonia for a whole week and visit another highlights of the national park, such as a trek to the Guanaco Hill or the Blue Lagoon, a birdwatching tour, or a photo safari among others.
