Example Itinerary – Fully Customizable

Green geodesic dome tents at this Eco-Camp lodge are set on a hillside with scattered bushes, below Patagonia’s rugged mountains aglow with golden sunlight, beneath a partly cloudy sky.
Day 1

Transfer from Punta Arenas (either the airport or a hotel) to EcoCamp Patagonia, located in the world-famous Torres del Paine National Park during the morning.

Alternative transfer from Calafate, making a couple of stops. The first one is in Puerto Natales, a small, lively town on the shores of “Seno de Última Esperanza” to enjoy a hearty local lunch, and the second one in Cueva de Milodon, a massive prehistoric cave where the remains of a giant ground sloth were discovered in the 1890s. The whole journey is very scenic, with plenty of wild birds and wonderful landscapes to be seen.

Snow-capped mountains rise above a serene blue lake, with golden grassy hills and scattered trees in the foreground. An eco-friendly Patagonia Lodge with a green roof sits near the shore under a partly cloudy sky.
Day 2

Transfer to Sarmiento Lake’s western shore to begin walking down a trail from the road towards the Lake’s edge. Across the scenic shoreline, it is possible to see many birds and also the monument of the first man to film Patagonia by air in the 1920’s: Gunther Plüschow.

Transfer to Laguna Azul to enjoy a BBQ lunch at a warm ‘quincho,’ while looking over the lake, with the three granite in the distance.

Hike to Macho Cañon where the typical Torres del Paine’s fauna, including guanaco herds, can be appreciated.

Transfer to EcoCamp just in time for cocktail hour.

A flag with blue, orange, and white zigzag stripes and white stars flutters on a boat near icy blue Patagonian glaciers and rugged mountains reflected in the water under a cloudy sky, not far from a cozy Eco-Camp lodge.
Day 3

Drive across the Park, admiring the view of Paine Grande and its snowy peaks, and Los Cuernos with its black, granite horn-like spires.

Stops at various viewpoints in search for herds of guanacos, Andean condors and interesting flora. Ideal to take photos.

Scenic walk along the tips of Pehoe Lake’s sourhtern shore, with views of the vast Toro Lake.

Drive to Gray Lake and wander along the beach on the shores of the glacial water.

Tasty box-lunch before embarking on a boat ride across the icy waters to the towering blue walls of Gray Glacier.

Transfer back to EcoCamp.

Note: During Shoulder Season (September, October and April) the boat trip to Gray Glacier may be cancelled as the boat requires a minimum of 8 passengers to sail, which might not be reached in some cases. If this is the case we will plan an alternative excursion in the Park).

Snow-capped mountains rise above green hills and a turquoise lake in Patagonia under a bright blue sky with wispy clouds; a waterfall flows from the hills into the lake near an inviting Eco-Camp.
Day 4

Transfer by van to the southern shore of Nordenskjold Lake, stopping in the magnificent Salto Grande waterfall, with its impressive cascading waters falling from Nordenskjold Lake into Pehoe Lake.

Arrival to Cuernos viewpoint, with a panoramic view of the mighty Horns.

Drive back eastwards along the northern shore of Sarmiento Lake until reaching the starting point of the Fauna Trail.

Spotting of the park fauna on the Patagonian plains including guanacos, ostrich-like ñandús and maybe the occasional puma prints!

Arrival to Laguna Amarga ranger station to be picked up and taken back to EcoCamp.

Dramatic orange clouds fill the sky above sharp, rocky mountain peaks, partially lit by golden sunlight, with dark ridges and sparse vegetation in the foreground near an Eco-Camp Patagonia Lodge.
Day 5

Morning transfer to Punta Arenas on time to catch the evening flight to Santiago. Those heading to Argentina board an earlier transfer heading to the border.
