Upon arrival, meet a representative of Cumbre Atacama, who will transfer you to the hotel. Check-in and go through the hotel menu to see what excursions are available. Talk to one of the guides to get information about acclimatization and any other inquiries you might have.

Moon Valley

The Cordillera de la Sal, an ancient and magnificent geological formation, is part of the famous Moon Valley, whose name was given due to its resemblance to the barren lunar surface. A masterpiece sculpted by the forces of nature that define the world’s driest desert, the valley’s caves, dunes and other formations will be the setting for an unforgettable visit culminating in a golden sunset.

Day 3

This 3,580-meter van ride offers breathtaking views of the Andes Mountains, with furious winds driving smoke from the smoldering volcanoes. Among the cacti and shrubs, a deep ravine appears, draped by crystalline waterfalls cascading into warm pools. These mineral Baths of Puritama captivate visitors and provide a soothing soak to all who venture into the waters.

After breakfast, transfer to Calama airport to continue your journey in South America, or you can also choose to spend some more days at the lodge and visit places such as the Devil’s Throat, Tatio Geysers, Miscanti and Miñiques Volcanoes, and Tara Salt Flat.
