A group of people wearing blue jackets walk towards the entrance of a large cave with a rocky ceiling near Lago Grey Lodge; a single animal stands on a ledge by the cave opening.
Day 1

Transfer from Punta Arenas airport to Hotel Lago Grey, enjoying the magnificent landscape of the Magellanic Estancias along the way.

Before reaching the lodge, stop in Puerto Natales to visit the Cueva Del Milodón (Milodon Cave), a national monument situated along the flanks of Cerro Benitez Mountains. Here you will be able to contemplate the remains of an extinct giant ground sloth named ‘Milodon,’ which were found more than a hundred years ago.

Afterwards, drive for 2 hours until arriving at Hotel Lago Grey.

A turquoise lake surrounded by green foliage and rugged, snow-capped mountains under a bright sky, with a leafless tree in the foreground—an idyllic scene reminiscent of an Awasi Patagonia luxury lodge experience.
Day 2

After breakfast, take a Full Day excursion to explore Torres del Paine National Park, the most important national park in Chilean Patagonia. Declared a UNESCO world biosphere reserve, this incredibly beautiful setting featuring a wide array of plant and animal species is an almost unequaled destination for hikers and backpackers, ecology-lovers and adventure sportsmen alike. Snowcapped mountain peaks, cascading rivers and waterfalls, glaciers and mirrored lakes, all of these can be found in Torres del Paine. Lunch box is included.

After the excursion, return to Hotel Lago Grey.

A bright blue glacier sits at the base of dark, rugged mountains with patches of snow, under a cloudy sky. Near calm, greenish water and a rocky outcrop, this stunning scene captures the essence of Torres del Paine in Patagonia.
Day 3

After breakfast, return to Punta Arenas to take a flight to your next destination in Patagonia or the rest of South America.

If you’d like to spend more days in Lago Grey, you can take the 3-night ‘Stunning Beauty’ program or the 4-night ‘Majestic Glaciers’ program. You can also choose the 1-night ‘Grey Express’ program.
