Example Itinerary – Fully Customizable

Day 1

Upon arrival at El Tepual airport (Puerto Montt), head to Puerto Varas and drive eastwards, passing by Llanquihue Lake, and then to the south bordering Reloncavi Estuary. Then, cross the Puelo River and Tagua-Tagua Lake until arriving at Mitico Puelo Lodge, your home for the next three days.

Breath in the pure Patagonian air and take in the views of the Andes mountains and the lakes that make up the Puelo Valley. Talk to your guides, experts in the region, to choose the excursions you will take the next day.

Day 2

Today, take a trekking and navigation excursion through the main lakes of the Puelo River basin in Chilean Patagonia, taking in stunning views of the native forest and towering mountains.

The tour starts in Mitica Puelo Lodge traveling by car to Llanada Grande (small Andean village). Take a short walk and cross the first lake, where locals will welcome you with a tasty picnic lunch. Afterwards, continue through the forest until Las Rocas Lake and cross it by boat. Reach the Inferior Lake, on the border with Argentina, where you will be rewarded with an alluring natural landscape made up by the Andes and the light blue lake.

After breakfast, get ready for your return trip back to Puerto Montt, to take a flight to your next destination in Patagonia or the rest of South America.
