Example Itinerary – Fully Customizable

Day 1

Upon arrival at Punta Arenas airport, meet your driver and transfer to Remota Patagonia, in Puerto Natales. Check in and explore the hotel, with a warm design utilizing Patagonian woods and stones, making a low impact on the environment. Visit the spa and the swimming pools, a great option to relax after a long trip.

Meet your guide and decide the excursions you will take.

Puerto Natales & Its People:
Take a 3-hour tour to discover Puerto Natales, capital of Ultima Esperanza province. This trip connects you with the life of the local people of Puerto Natales, their habits and traditions. Learn about its history, from the time when the natives Aoniken and Kaweskar, to the first Patagonian ranchs.

Visit the fishermen’s wharf, the municipal museum, the main square and the family ranches, where several families grow fruits and vegetables on their greenhouses.

Day 2

After breakfast, take a 10-hour full day tour to Torres del Paine National Park. It is done by car and it involves some light hikes.

Explore the vast national park, declared a UNESCO Biological Reserve, and discover its highlights, such as Amarga Lagoon, Salto Grande casca,de Nordenskjold Lake, and more. Weather permitting, allows you to see the principal peaks including the Towers, the Horns, Almirante Nieto peak, and the Paine Grande peak.

After lunch, walk to the coast of Grey Lake to take in views of the huge icebergs along the shore. From a lookout point where you can also see the Glacier Grey in the distance.

Day 3

Have breakfast at the lodge and board a catamaran to take a full day tour to the Last Hope Sound, or Ultima Esperanza Fjord. Follow the course of the river until arriving at the Bernardo O’Higgins National Park, where the famous Balmaceda Glacier is located. Another highlights of the tour include local fauna, such a sea lions, cormorant, seagulls, Chilean skuas, and Andean condors.

At one point, you will descend from the boat to take a short hike and appreciate the Serrano Glacier.

After the tour, return to Remota Patagonia to rest at your room, enjoy a drink at the bar, or unwind at the swimming pool.

Day 4

After breakfast, transfer out of Remota Patagonia to continue your journey across South America or return home.
