After uncovering some hidden gems along the way, you'll arrive in El Chaltén and be taken to your hotel.
El Chaltén is Argentina's premier hiking destination. Nestled at the base of Mount Fitz Roy, this quaint village is surrounded by glaciers, lakes, rivers, and forests. It’s the starting point for numerous hiking trails, making it a paradise for outdoor enthusiasts.
Spend your first afternoon at your own pace, whether it's unwinding at a local brewery or taking a short walk to a nearby waterfall.

Day 2

El Chalten

Today's adventure is for avid hikers: embark on one of the top trails in Patagonia, leading to Cerro Torre and Laguna Torre. This 8-hour, 12-mile trek through the wilderness is moderately challenging, with no steep climbs, making it accessible even for those without prior hiking experience.
The trailhead begins at a distinctive wooden sign marked ‘Laguna Torre’ with a woodpecker motif. If you visited the Cerro Torre Viewpoint yesterday, you’ve already seen it. The trail meanders through a breathtaking landscape, with snow-capped peaks towering over native lenga and ñire forests. Pass the De Agostini campsite and push onward to the front moraine, where a short 15-minute climb brings you to the summit. From there, descend to the lagoon to marvel at the floating icebergs or continue a mile further to the Mascardi viewpoint for an even more spectacular vista.

A large lodge-style building sits on grassy plains near a calm lake in Patagonia, with rugged, snow-capped mountains rising in the background under a pale sky—the perfect start to your guided group tour of Patagonia essentials.
Day 3

In the afternoon, hop on a bus for a scenic 3-hour ride back to El Calafate, a perfect chance to unwind and enjoy the breathtaking views along the way.
Upon arrival, you'll be dropped off at your hotel, ready to explore the charms of El Calafate at your leisure. Wander through the town, sample succulent Patagonian lamb, or indulge in the delightful Calafate berry ice cream.

A vast glacier with jagged ice formations stretches across the landscape, surrounded by snow-capped mountains and green trees—a breathtaking sight for a memorable family journey under a bright blue sky with scattered clouds.
Day 4

El Calafate

In the morning, we’ll pick you up from your hotel for a 6-hour adventure to Glaciers National Park, home of the magnificent Perito Moreno Glacier. The drive from El Calafate to the park is about 25 miles, with stunning views of the Patagonian steppe along the way.
Once in the park, stroll along the walkways that offer various breathtaking viewpoints, bringing you incredibly close to the glacier. If you’re fortunate, you might witness a chunk of ice calving from the glacier and crashing into the lake below.
A bilingual guide will share fascinating insights and facts about the glacier during an informative hour-long tour. Following this, embark on a boat ride that brings you up close to the 262-foot-tall ice walls of Perito Moreno, allowing you to truly appreciate this colossal natural wonder. At the end of the day, we’ll return you to your hotel to reflect on the awe-inspiring experience.

Embark on a 5-hour bus ride through vast, green landscapes framed by towering mountains. Upon arrival in Puerto Natales, you’ll be greeted by the bronze statue of the Milodon, a giant sloth that roamed the Earth 5,000 years ago, at the town's entrance.
Check into your hotel, conveniently located just a few blocks from the bus station, and take some time to explore this charming town. Puerto Natales is the gateway to the renowned Torres del Paine National Park, a highlight of Chilean Patagonia.
During your one-night stay, enjoy a stroll along the shores of the Magellan Strait, or relax in a cozy café, soaking in the vibrant colors and unique character of this picturesque town.

Day 6

Start your day early with a pick-up from your hotel, embarking on a 10-hour exploration of the incredible Torres del Paine National Park. Our first stop is the Milodon Cave, a natural monument located 15 miles north of town. This site features three caverns and the intriguing Silla del Diablo (Devil’s Chair), a rock formation shrouded in local legend.
As we approach the caves, we’ll pass by the Silla del Diablo and hear tales of its mysterious past—a legend told by the oldest man in Patagonia about the Devil’s nocturnal appearances.
Next, we journey to Torres del Paine National Park, passing Sofia Lagoon, Prat Range, Porteño Lake, and the breathtaking Grey Lake viewpoint. Crossing Serrano Bridge, we arrive at the Grey Lake sector, where you can stroll along the shoreline and take in the majestic scenery. Afterward, we’ll pause for a lunch break (meal not included) at a local restaurant.
Post-lunch, the adventure continues to Salto Grande. You’ll visit the Nordenskjold Lake viewpoint and then travel along a winding route to Amarga Lagoon. We’ll also stop at the beautiful turquoise waterfall of Paine, fed by the Paine River.
On our return to Puerto Natales, a final stop at Sarmiento Lake viewpoint provides one last opportunity to capture the stunning vistas of Torres del Paine.
