Day 1

Upon arrival in Iquitos, take a private transfer to Nauta. Nauta is a small riverside town on the banks of Marañon River. In Nauta, be greeted by the Delfin Amazon Cruise crew at the private port where the vessel resides.

Next, board the Delfin and be introduced to an exquisite, cozy suite by the qualified staff. As the Delfin begins its initial navigation, head to the observation deck and marvel at panoramic views of the surrounding terrain. Stop by the bartender and be served an exotic cocktail and listen as a naturalist guides gives an overview of the journey ahead. This is just the beginning of the Delfin Amazon Cruise.

Three people in outdoor gear stand beside a giant tree in a dense rainforest, looking up at its tall trunk and sprawling roots—an awe-inspiring moment you might experience on an Amazon luxury cruise surrounded by lush green foliage.
Day 2

Today, walk deep into the Amazon Rainforest along the Fundo Casual jungle trail. Pay close attention to the local guide, as he or she points out the dynamic creatures and vegetation of the Amazon.

Later, cruise through the Yanayacu and Pucate Rivers. Catch glimpse of various creeks and lagoons until reaching the Pacaya Samiria National Reserve. This National Reserve is one of the best preserved and protected zones in the Amazon. Be prepared to pinpoint an incredible abundance of biodiversity. There will even be an opportunity to swim in the river alongside playful pink dolphins!

Close-up view of a crocodile’s head, its textured, scaly skin and golden, slit eye vividly detailed—captured from the edge during an Amazon Cruise. The blurred background draws focus to this fascinating river predator.
Day 3

Skim the Samiria River and its tributaries, where an abundance of wildlife hides in the deep rainforest, such as blue and yellow macaws, scarlet macaws, toucans, umbrella birds, monkeys, and river others, capybaras and more. Watch as naturalist guides spot all kinds of flora and fauna in the region.

After a delicious lunch, visit Nauta Caño Creek. Here, there will be opportunities to go fishing for the famous piranha, which is a delightful and challenging experience! As night approaches, embark a night safari in search of caiman alligators and night birds.

A motorboat with several passengers speeds along a river, creating a trail of water. Dense green trees line the riverbank under a cloudy sky, reminiscent of an adventurous Amazon cruise with sunlight breaking through.
Day 4

Visit a historic place, the Ucayali and Marañon rivers, where the Amazon River was born. Before it gets too hot, set off on a short skiff ride to Piranha Caño to catch some early-bird activity.

After the skiff ride, enjoy breakfast before heading to San Francisco Village, where the ship will be greeted by the local children of the Shipibo community. Listen to the expert guides, while touring the local?s homes and school.

Later, glide along the Marayali River and spot sloths, iguanas, and recently a new favorite location for anteaters. Birdwatchers are likely to check off their bucket list, the Yellow-rumped caciques, and the very elegant egrets.

A person feeds a baby manatee with a bottle while resting their hand gently on the animal’s head, near the edge of a blue pool—an unforgettable moment from an Amazon Delfin III Cruise. The person is wearing a watch and tan shoes.
Day 5

With heavy hearts, the staff will say farewell as guests prepare for departure. At the port of Nauta, the ground crew will transfer travelers by private vehicle back to the city of Iquitos, about 95 kilometers journey by paved road.

On the way back to Iquitos, visit the Rescue & Rehabilitation Center of River Mammals. Meet baby manatees and learn about these wonderful, docile creatures and why they are on the endangered species list.

After having one last experience in Iquitos, get ready for a return flight or a flight to a new destination.
