Day 1

Santiago de Chile

Welcome to Santiago, the vibrant heart of Chile. As you arrive in this dynamic city, you'll find yourself surrounded by a blend of modern energy and rich history. Santiago stands as a gateway to both the Andes and the Pacific, offering a perfect starting point for your South American journey.

Day 2

Santiago de Chile

Today’s adventure begins with a drive from Santiago to the coast, where you will discover two of Chile’s most captivating cities. Our journey starts in Valparaíso, a historic port city known for its colorful streets and artistic spirit.

As we make our way through the Casablanca wine valley, you will be greeted by sweeping views of the Pacific Ocean and rolling vineyards. Arriving in Valparaíso, you will experience the city's charm as we navigate its hilly streets and admire its unique architecture. We will explore the vibrant neighborhoods, including Cerro Alegre and Cerro Concepción, where you can enjoy scenic viewpoints and stroll through charming streets.

We will visit some of the city’s highlights, including a ride on one of Valparaíso’s classic funiculars and a stop at Paseo Yugoslavo for a panoramic view of the bay.

Next, we will head to La Sebastiana, the former home of the celebrated poet Pablo Neruda (museum visit not included), to appreciate its architecture and cultural significance. Following our time in Valparaíso, we will drive to Viña del Mar, a coastal city known for its beautiful beaches and lush gardens.

In Viña del Mar, we will visit the Casino de Juegos, explore the scenic coastline, and stroll through its residential neighborhoods, including a visit to Reñaca Beach and Plaza Vergara.

After a day of exploration, we will return to your hotel in Santiago.

Day 3

Puerto Varas

Today, your adventure takes you from the vibrant city of Santiago to the serene landscapes of Puerto Varas. Your day starts with a private transfer from your hotel in Santiago to the international airport toboard your flight to Puerto Montt, a gateway to the stunning Lake District of Chile. Upon landing in Puerto Montt, you will be taken to your hotel in Puerto Varas.

Settle into your new surroundings and get ready to explore this beautiful area known for its natural beauty and lakeside setting.

Day 4

Puerto Varas

Today’s adventure takes you through the natural wonders of Vicente Pérez Rosales National Park, where you’ll encounter the majestic Osorno Volcano, the stunning Petrohué Falls, and the serene beauty of Todos los Santos Lake.

Morning Exploration: We’ll depart from Puerto Varas and head towards the Osorno Volcano. As we drive along the shores of Lake Llanquihue, you’ll witness magnificent views of the snow-capped Osorno and Calbuco volcanoes in the distance.

Ascent to the Summit: Arriving at the Ensenada sector, we’ll begin our ascent to the Osorno Volcano Ski and Mountain Center, situated at 1,240 meters above sea level. Here, you’ll have the chance to take in the sweeping vistas of the surrounding volcanic landscapes, including views of the Calbuco Volcano, Lake Llanquihue, and even the distant Pacific Ocean.

Optional Activities: You can choose to enjoy a coffee or sandwich at the on-site café, or take one of the lifts to the Spring Station at 1,450 meters, or the Glacier Station at 1,750 meters, where the panoramic views are truly spectacular.

Afternoon Wonders: Afterwards, we will descend to the Ensenada sector for a lunch break (not included), then proceed to the renowned Petrohué Falls. Here, you’ll experience the raw power of nature as you admire the cascading waters that have carved their way through volcanic rock formations.

Scenic Lake Visit: Our day will end at the Petrohué Port on the shores of Todos los Santos Lake. You’ll have time to explore the lush surroundings, enjoy a leisurely walk along the lake’s edge, or opt for a 30-minute boat ride on the lake (not included), where you can take in the emerald waters and views of the Osorno Volcano.

Return to Puerto Varas: Following a day filled with natural wonders, we will return to your hotel in Puerto Varas.

Day 5

Embark on a remarkable journey that takes you from Puerto Varas in Chile to San Carlos de Bariloche in Argentina, navigating through breathtaking Patagonian landscapes on a route connecting three stunning lakes and traversing the Andes Mountains.

Morning Departure: Our day begins early as we depart from Puerto Varas and travel by bus to the picturesque Petrohué area. As we drive along the edge of Lake Llanquihue, you’ll be greeted with magnificent views of the Osorno and Calbuco volcanoes.

Exploring the National Park: Upon arrival at Vicente Pérez Rosales National Park, we’ll visit the Petrohué Falls. Here, you’ll witness the emerald-green waters cascading over unique volcanic rock formations, creating a natural spectacle of beauty.

Sailing Across the Lakes: Next, we board a boat to cross the stunning Todos los Santos Lake. This tranquil lake, surrounded by dramatic volcanic peaks like Osorno Volcano and Puntiagudo Volcano, offers spectacular views. Our destination is Peulla, a charming ecological village where you can take in the serene surroundings.

Crossing into Argentina: From Peulla, we will board a bus to Puerto Frías to complete the border crossing into Argentina. The journey continues as we navigate across the Andes on a scenic route.

Navigating Lago Frías: We will then embark on a 20-minute boat ride across Lago Frías aboard the Victoria del Sur catamaran, making our way to Puerto Alegre. Our final leg takes us by bus to Puerto Blest, where you’ll have the afternoon at your leisure. Take the opportunity to explore the area, enjoy gourmet experiences, or simply relax in the serene environment.

Evening in Puerto Blest: Spend the evening enjoying the natural beauty of Puerto Blest, with options to unwind in a hotel jacuzzi or take a peaceful stroll in this tranquil location.

Day 6

Bariloche

Start your day at your own pace in the tranquil setting of Puerto Blest. You have the option to embark on a self-guided trek to Cáscada Los Cántaros, where you can immerse yourself in the serene beauty of the natural surroundings. In the afternoon, we will set sail from Puerto Blest for the final leg of our journey across Lake Nahuel Huapi. As you cruise across the lake, take in the breathtaking views of the surrounding landscapes and reflect on the adventures you’ve experienced so far.

Our boat ride will bring us to Puerto Pañuelo, where we will board a bus for the scenic drive to Bariloche. This charming city, known for its picturesque landscapes, offers a range of activities and experiences throughout the year, from skiing in winter to exploring the city’s shops, restaurants, and vibrant nightlife in the summer. Upon arrival in Bariloche, you’ll have the evening to explore this lively city at your leisure. Discover the local cuisine, shop for souvenirs, or simply enjoy the beautiful setting.

Day 7

Bariloche

Today, we will pick you up from your hotel to embark on a journey through the heart of San Carlos de Bariloche. This half-day adventure combines natural beauty with insights into the town’s rich history. We will start by visiting some of the most iconic viewpoints in the region. As we explore Campanario Hill and the Llao-Llao Hotel area, your guide will share the fascinating story of how this charming mountain town evolved into one of Patagonia’s premier destinations. Next, we’ll delve into the natural wonders of the Llao-Llao Nature Park. We’ll take a leisurely walk through the park's enchanting landscapes, where you’ll encounter the unique Arrayanes trees and enjoy the serene beauty of the surroundings.

Throughout the tour, we’ll take in breathtaking views of Moreno and Nahuel Huapi Lakes, along with the majestic Lopez and Capilla Mountains.To wrap up the morning, we’ll visit a local microbrewery where you’ll indulge in a delicious lunch paired with a selection of local craft beers. Then, we’ll bring you back to your hotel, leaving you refreshed and inspired by the natural and historical treasures of Bariloche.

Day 8

Buenos Aires

Your journey begins with a private transfer from your hotel to Bariloche Airport for your flight to Buenos Aires. Upon arrival, a private transfer will take you to your hotel in the heart of the city. Once you’re settled, you will have the rest of the afternoon to start exploring or relaxing before the evening activity. 

As night falls, you will be picked up from your hotel and taken to an iconic venue where you will be immersed in the world of Argentine tango. This is more than a show—it’s a journey into one of Buenos Aires' most cherished traditions.Experience the captivating rhythm and grace of the tango, Argentina’s signature dance that tells stories of passion, history, and love. As you sit back and enjoy the performance, you will witness the artistry and emotion that define this dance form. The evening includes a gourmet dinner featuring a selection of Argentine and international dishes. Savor the flavors of the local cuisine paired with fine Malbec wine, as you enjoy the tango performances in a setting that echoes the elegance of the past.After the show, we will take you back to your hotel.

Day 9

Buenos Aires

Today, you will embark on a guided exploration of Buenos Aires, uncovering the essence of this vibrant city. Our guide will meet you at your hotel, ready to reveal the stories and landmarks that shape the cultural tapestry of the Argentine capital. Start your adventure at Plaza de Mayo, the historic center where Argentina’s national identity was forged. Here, you’ll see iconic sites like the Casa Rosada, the presidential palace, and the impressive Congress building. Learn about the crucial moments in Buenos Aires’ history and their impact on the nation.Next, you’ll traverse the city’s eclectic neighborhoods, each with its own character. From the historic charm of San Telmo to the vibrant streets of La Boca, where colorful murals and tango dancers bring the area to life, you’ll experience Buenos Aires in all its facets.

Discover the elegance of Recoleta, known for its chic ambiance and historic cemetery. At the Recoleta Cemetery, you will visit the final resting place of some of Argentina’s most notable figures, including Eva Perón. Here, the architectural beauty and historical significance offer a glimpse into the city’s past. After a morning of discovery, you will be taken back to your hotel

Puerto Iguazu

At the scheduled time, you will be picked up from your hotel and taken to Aeroparque Jorge Newbery Airport for your flight to Puerto Iguazú. Upon your arrival, you will be ransferred to your hotel. Nestled in the lush surroundings of the Argentine jungle, this charming town is the gateway to one of nature’s greatest spectacles: Iguazú Falls.

The rest of the day is yours to unwind and soak in the tropical atmosphere of Puerto Iguazú. Enjoy the serene environment, explore the local shops, or simply relax at your hotel in anticipation of the adventures that lie ahead.

Day 11

Puerto Iguazu

Today, you will be picked up from your hotel and taken to the stunning Iguazú National Park on the Argentine side. Prepare for a day immersed in the natural wonders of one of the world's greatest waterfalls. Your adventure begins with a drive to the park, where you'll have the chance to explore the diverse subtropical rainforest that surrounds the falls. As you walk along the well-maintained paths and bridges, your guide will help you spot fascinating wildlife like toucans, parrots, and coatis.

You will traverse both the lower and upper walkways that offer different perspectives of the falls. Each trail provides unique views and photo opportunities, allowing you to fully appreciate the grandeur of this natural marvel. One of the highlights of the day is visiting the iconic “Devil’s Throat”—the most powerful and impressive of the falls. You'll take the ecological train through the forest, followed by a walk along the boardwalks that lead you to the edge of this spectacular viewpoint. After exploring the falls, you’ll have some free time to enjoy a meal in the park’s picturesque setting. 

At the end of your day exploring the Argentine side of Iguazú Falls, you will be transported back to your hotel.

Day 12

Río de Janeiro

Today’s journey starts with a pickup from your hotel and a drive to Foz do Iguaçu National Park in Brazil. Make sure you have your passport for this exciting day trip! From the Brazilian side, you’ll enjoy stunning panoramic views of the Iguazú Falls. A guide will take you on a bus tour through the park, where you’ll walk the trails and boardwalks to experience the beauty of the falls. Stand close to the powerful Devil’s Throat and feel the exhilarating mist from the cascading waters.

After exploring the falls, you will be transported back to your hotel in Puerto Iguazú before heading to the airport for your flight to Rio de Janeiro.

Day 13

Río de Janeiro

We'll start by picking you up at your hotel and heading to Cosme Velho. Here, we'll board the cog train that ascends through the Tijuca Forest, leading us to the iconic Christ the Redeemer statue. Enjoy panoramic views of Rio, including Sugar Loaf, Guanabara Bay, the Southern Zone beaches, and the Rodrigo de Freitas Lagoon. After soaking in the views, we’ll take a break for lunch.

Next, we'll travel to the Urca neighborhood to visit Sugar Loaf Mountain. The journey includes two thrilling cable car rides. The first ride takes us to Urca Hill, 705 feet high, offering stunning views of Guanabara Bay, its islands, the Rio-Niterói bridge, and Corcovado Hill. The second cable car ride brings us to the top of Sugar Loaf Mountain, standing at 1,296 feet, where you’ll be treated to breathtaking views of Copacabana Beach, the Santa Cruz fortress, and some Niterói beaches.

After the day's adventures, we’ll take you back to your hotel.

At appropriate time you will have a private transfer to the airport to take your flight back home.
