Day 1

Early morning flight Bogota to Bucaramanga or overland transport from Bogotá directly to Barichara, one of the most beautiful and unknown colonial village in the wonderful region of the Santander department. Transfer to a romantic colonial hotel. 3 nights including breakfast. Rest of day at leisure to enjoy these unique athmosphere.

Day 2

After breakfast we start to visit the colonial treasures of Barichara. Afterwards we walk on the stone trails to Guane, built about two centuries ago by the german engineer Geo von Lengerke. Here we get to know the archeological museum.

Day 3

In the morning we start to explore the famous National Park of the Chicamocha River. We will have the opportunity to visit a platform from where we have a breathtaking 360 degrees, view overlooking the majestic countryside. After midday we continue to Bucaramanga, the capital of Santander where we get to know why it's called the city of the green parks.

Day 4

In the morning we are going to visit some really important historical sites. Socorro, where the struggle for independence in Latin America and the biggest movement in Colombia began: the Revolution of the Comuneros. The museum of anthropology, archaeology and history which is located in the Casa de Cultura Horacio Rodríguez Plata, which is a national monument today, will show us evidence of that time. At midday transfer to the airport in Bucaramanga to your continuation flight or overlandtransport to Bogotá.
