There are often connections needed between cities. For example, a change of plane in Sao Paulo or in Brasilia. Cities such as Sao Paulo and Rio de Janeiro have more than one airport and it is often more convenient to fly from the city center airport, rather than international airport further out of the city. This is particularly the case in Rio where Santos Dumont is only a short drive from Copacabana and you get great views on take-off and landing too! Aerial panoramic view of Rio de Janeiro
