In future some lines may be reopened, such as the line from Bogotá to the Atlantic. A Chinese consortium has applied for the right to built a “dry Panama canal” connecting the Pacific with the Atlantic by container trains. For now, the Tren de la Sabana, the train to Zipaquira is your only Colombia train tour option, and we can include it in any customized tour of Colombia.
