Bogota Tours

20+ Years Designing Colombia Tours

Our Bogota tours will show you a mix of the modern and the colonial as well as glimpses of Colombia’s pre-colonial history. Visit the historical district La Candelaria, the Colonial Art Museum, and the Gold Museum with over 30,000 items from the rich pre-Columbian era. Bogota is also a very modern city and the business hub of northern South America. Outside of Bogota, there are several national parks and nature reserves nearby, so we offer tours to Chingaza National Park and tours to Chicaque Nature Reserve. If a modern, artsy tour is more your thing, then our Graffiti Tour Bogota is probably just the trip for you! On this tour, you will explore all the graffiti throughout. So whether you choose a Bogota Walking Tour, Bogota Graffiti Tour, or are just looking for the best Bogota Tour Guide, we have it covered!

Bogota Travel FAQs

Yes, it is safe to travel to Bogota. In common with many large cities, there are unsafe areas, but we only book hotels in areas that are safe for tourists and only arrange tours to safe parts of the city. A trip to Bogota is as safe as to most other cities in South America. As always, it is best to avoid wearing expensive jewelry and carrying valuables with you.

Yes. It is an interesting large city with some excellent museums, nightlife, good restaurants and is a good base for visiting nearby attractions like the Zipaquira Salt Cathedral and national parks.

The best solution to this problem is to visit both! However, if time is tight wed suggest Cartagena over Bogota to most travelers. It does depend on your interests though. If you want to see museums and prefer the cooler climes of the Andes to the coast, then Bogota is for you, but most people on a short trip would opt for the colonial color and Caribbean atmosphere of Cartagena.
